Musical Cars and a Police Department

I was cruising everyone's blogs yesterday, and I realized something.
I never actually talk about us on this thing.
I usually just add a bunch of pics.
=/ Sorry about that.

Shortly before our last vacation, Chris's beloved 4Runner broke.
After years of patching it together, we made a decision.
It's time to get a new truck.

We also did some research, and found out that Chris's truck is an import.
Toyota didn't start making cars in the USA until 1988.
His truck is a 1984.

So we decided NOT to trade it in. We're going to restore it.

Now, Chris can get to work every day.
And we can take our time, and fix the 4Runner the right way.
No more used parts and patch-jobs.

Problem..
There isn't much of a selection for new trucks.
So, we are currently playing "Musical Cars"
He is driving my car, and I'm driving my sister's old car.
In a few weeks, I'll be driving my Mom's old car.. which is also my Grandma's old car.
Haha.

Other than the lovely vehicle dilemma..
Chris is preparing to apply at Gresham Police Department.
*Cross your fingers and pray*

We are both undergoing a lot of changes at our jobs.
Administrative stuff..
Loads of fun haha.
Thankfully, most of my changes are going to be good ones.
Chris, on the other hand, isn't so sure about his changes.

So that's a look into our lives at the moment.
I'll try and be a little better about this whole thing =/
