Our First Experience with Workman's Comp

This has been Chris for the last few days..
He tore some muscles in his back a few days ago while at work. The poor guy has been in and out of Doctor's offices all week. I never knew that workman's comp would be such a pain. One guy says this, another guy says that.. *sigh*

Everyone finally came to an "agreement" of sorts. Chris still has to go to work, but he has a huge list of restrictions. No pulling, pushing, lifting, squatting, bending over, running, jumping.. Sounds easy enough, don't be active. Wrong. They also added to the list, "no prolonged sitting" What the heck?

So for the next few weeks, Chris is going to have some very boring days at work. He is stuck in the office at work, at the front desk. And he has to get up and walk around occasionally. Fun fun fun.

ugh I hate dealing with stuff like that. Gotta love 'legal' crap if you want to call it that. We had to get disability leave for McKay and that was a royal pain too. I Hope everything works out though!!
