Spur-of-the-Moment

We decided to go to the beach today.

We stopped at the grocery store and armed ourselves with the necessary travel items..

When we arrived, we discovered that the weather was terrible..

So rather than freezing on the sand, we hit up a few antique stores.
Chris wanted me to get this match-dispenser for the kitchen.

And I found this funny little mailbox.
Chris thought I was weird for buying it.
I have no idea what I'm going to do with it.
But it was cute, and I doubt I'll ever find one again.

I also brought home a lovely sunburn from the drive there.

Overall, not at all what we expected for a beach trip, but it was still a fun way to wrap up the weekend. We rarely get opportunities to spend a whole day together, talking and laughing.
I definitely enjoyed it =]
