Brad Paisley Concert

Chris is always winning things on the radio.
Recently, he won tickets to the Brad Paisley concert.
It was an outdoor concert, and it was abnormally cold weather that day.
But we still had tons of fun.

The tour is called "The H2O Tour"
It's based around a benefit/charity for people living without clean water.
We got there around 4:00, where they had a stage outside the main amphitheater, with a few smaller artists performing. There were concession stands all around. And lots, and LOTS, of beer and cigarettes. Amanda was gagging every time she smelled either of these, so we found a quieter area and rested on the lawn until the doors to the amphitheater opened. We had lawn tickets, so we laid out our blanket and waited. And waited...

When the sun started setting, the temperature plummeted. So we cuddled up for warmth, and drank Hot Cocoa. =]

This was our view from our spot..

Finally, the concert started with Justin Moore.

We had to watch from these screens, because there was no way to view the stage from how far back we were. Darius Rucker was next.

A few minutes after taking that picture. Two girls around our age walked up to us and gave us their tickets. They were leaving the concert, and wanted someone to be able to have their seats. We moved up about 30 rows back from the stage, where it was nice and toasty warm, and we could actually see the performers!!

5 Hours after arriving, Brady Paisley finally comes on stage.

By the end of the concert, we were wiped out. We had been there for 7 hours, and Amanda was getting pretty queasy. (Notice the half smile in the next photo) But overall it was a great time, and we really enjoyed it. So thankful that those two girls decided to give their tickets to us. Without them, the night would have been a whole lot different.
