The Wedding Ring Compliment

My morning started out kinda.. well.. just bleh. Yes, bleh. But a few minutes ago, an older gentlemen came into the office. He walked up to the counter, and greeted me by saying, "Hello Mrs. Adidas!" (I'm wearing an adidas baseball cap) He had a huge smile on his face. One of those contagious smiles. While I was taking his information, typing away at my computer, just kinda running through the motions, he said something that really cheered me up. "That is a beautiful wedding ring on your finger!" I don't know why it effected me so much, but it did. Just a random compliment, he has probably already forgotten about it, and I'll probably forget about it tomorrow. For today though, he made me smile =]
