Customer: "Is the owner here? I kinda wanted to talk to him."
Me: "Nope, sorry, he isn't in today. What can I do for you?"
Customer: "Well, who can I talk to? Who is running the shop?"
Me: "Just Me. Can I help you?"
Customer: "Oh, really? Wow."
Me: "Yup, I've been doing it for 3 years."
Customer: "Oh."
*Pause*
Customer: "I didn't know that you could actually run this place."
Me: "Actually, for the last 3 years, I have been at the front counter more than anyone else."
Customer: "Oh.. Really??"
*Obviously I'm feeling rather indignant at this point*
Me: "Yes, really."
Customer: "Oh. Ok. Well I'll just talk to Bill tomorrow then! Thanks!"
