Baby Update!!

Wednesday marked 12 weeks! Baby is the size of a plum now. All organs are intact now. Finally on to the second trimester. I have been waiting very impatiently for this milestone for a long time. I'm officially out of the dangerous first trimester when it comes to miscarriages and such. And all this fatigue that I've been battling should begin to finally go away!

We had our third doctor's appointment Wednesday. It only lasted about 15 minutes. Super quick. We listened to the heartbeat. (That was super cool!) And I asked a bunch of questions.

I definitely think I will be switching to a real doctor though, instead of this midwife. She just seems so air-headed. She gives very vague answers, and hasn't given me much information at all. She also pressured me a lot on the genetic testing, and I didn't like that. We decided that we are not going to do any unnecessary testing at all.

Other than that, things are going great! No real complaints at all, and I like it that way =]

yay for good news with babies!! I'm sorry you had a bad experience with your midwife. That really bugs me that she was pestering you guys about genetic testing. Good luck doctor hunting!!
